Look for fun boutiques, unique souvenir shops, sporty surf wear shops, and art galleries on your visit.
You can stay close to Mount Maunganui, thanks to all of the motor inns, hotels, and motels along Maunganui Road. Or, you can stay a little further inland. You'll still be close to all of the crystal-blue waters with the Waihi Road or Cameron Road options. If you're OK with being even further inland, look on Moffat Road or Bell Street.
