The Stancliffe-Deans clan in Napier !

Yes it is basic but it is clean, warm, has plenty of hot water, The beds don't smell and the bedding is clean. Great hospitality and lots of breakfast in the am. They say that it is not suitable for children but we took Our children aged 9 & 12 and they enjoyed their stay. The evenings were spent playing pool watching a film on sky, that was just fine for our kids.
So, if like us , you would usually go for a hotel (3-5* in our case !) give this hotel a go you WON'T be disapointed, we intend to use it again and again !

Seriously best hostel I've been to

I'm giving this as a top rated hostel , the best I've ever stayed in. The art deco style hostel is immaculate and well furnished, with a great 1930's ambience.

Rooms are exceptional and the staff are friendly as - Napier has to be one of the best places in New Zealand - think i might migrate here !!
