Waihi Beach, Coromandel Peninsula sits on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island. Its white sandy beaches run parallel to the Bay of Plenty, which lives up to its name in terms of surfing, fishing and a host of other water-based activities. There are also coastal walks to Orakawa Bay.
