Hotel was well located in the centre of the CBD , close to nightlife , shops and main offices.

It's an average hotel , nothing special, but for NZ$120 per night we thought the room was good value for money.

Central , fantastic service, comfortable room , spectacular vista of the Alps and Avon River.

Also it was so quiet ... amzing since it is the centre of the city.

Couldn't fault it for the price.

My wife and I were very disappointed in the Rydges Hotel Christchurch. The room itself with furnishings was worn and much in need of a renovation. Take this into account and therefore the price per night was not in line.

Indeed if we do return to Christchurch, we will be staying at the Millenium, a far superior hotel with good food.
