Five kilometres northwest of Christchurch city centre, is the major suburb of Papanui. The area is a testament to Christchurch’s renowned horticultural reputation, and has great transport links to the International Airport, Mount Hutt, whale watching and ski-fields in nearby Kaikoura and the Southern Alps respectively.
