UM.?
Feb 2010 - L Baldwin, Far North
Looked good on the internet, nice rooms, (certainly not the one we stayed in.) Rang the owner about the reviews he praised the hotel, so we stayed there as it also was the only accommadation near the airport for 5
people although 2 children had to top in
tail, small room yuk single beds, had I have not paid I would have gone down the road and booked two rooms, did get a discount for one night. In our room 1had a jug - tea - coffee & sugar - 3 cups & 1 fork, did get a small discount for one night, when we arrived back into NZ we stayed at another cheap motel just down the road, much better.
Dinner was not that nice - chicken was off. not much selection for the children, mainly the the ice cream. Left my hair dryer there went back a week later to pick it up was told it wasn't there. So we will not be going back there

you would only stay there once
Dec 2009 - Mr & Mrs Fox , Queenstown
Well just got off plane from the Uk looked on the board at the airport and thought pictures looked ok so phoned up to be picked up from airport which is 1 good thing and it was FREE.
and went down hill from then onwards!!! I can see why they make you pay upfront. maybe thinking a camp site would of been a better choice.
Bathroom dirty only had 2 light bulbs working in the room. Towel were dirty, Tea bags unwrapped so done know how long they had been out for.
So all in all will not be going back there again.

Convenient, happy to leave
Oct 2009 - L Stokes, Australia
What has Auckland become, left 7 years ago, returned for Holiday needed overnight stay. If we hadn't paid we would have walked. One room had no handles on windows, broken chain on door. Beds were clean, but dishes dirty, no mircrowave, iron, hairdryer. cobwebs, rotten broken ballistrades outside room, fridge needed attention, one battery remote control requires 2. Presentable from the outside, with flash cars out front. If you enjoy curry the place to be!!!!

Revolting
Aug 2009 - Anonymous
Yuck the place stunk of a hot curry or something right throw the 2 nights we were there, the dryer didn't work, so had a suitcase full of wet clothes, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupier, the man at the front desk gave us false information about the buses coursing us to spend $100 on public transport, the only good thing this place had to offer was the pick up drop off service from the airport. had we not all ready paid we would have walked out.

No frills
Jul 2009 - Anonymous, NZ
If you want cheap no frills accomodation, close to the airport, this is your place.
Staff were very obliging, no charge for shuttles to and from the airport (despite our late arrival at 1am). The room itself was nothing fancy by any stretch, but it was great to just put your head down after a long flight. It suited our needs and the 14 day free parking was a bonus. If you want all the bells and whistles don't stop here. But for cheap no frills place to rest after a flight, I'd book in again.
