Awesome Place to stay

This was a lovely place to stay, the rooms were lovely and clean although sparce in the kitchen ware area they could all do with the basic's of a dish cloth and a tea towel. The location is great very central.
I would definiately stay there again and the staff were lovely.

Good Value for a night out on the Town

Great wee hotel, the location of the hotel was awesome within walking distance of most major attractions.

The room was clean and tidy just what we needed for a night out on the town.

The staff were very helpful anf friendly, I would stay again

Great Wee hotel in great location , but very disappointed with hotel not having fully equpped kitchen as you would think looking at photos .

Please let people know only jug and mugs supplied . otherwise very happy with Hotel Formule 1

Feb 2008 - Anonymous, Auckland

There we were sitting on our bags in the backpacker hostel just off Queen Street when the urge for an en-suite bathroom overtook me. A quick internet search revealed it was possible to stay at the formule 1 for $20 a night less than we were paying, with an en suite, tv, small kichenette and cd player to boot! We had a good 10 days there.

The only grubles were the cost of parking ( an Auckland problem) and the tendency for those magnetic cards to reset themselves at 2 in the morning when you are on the 13th floor.

Good value , but small

Overall very satisified with the price and location .

Rooms had all that we needed , but a bit small - not really concerned as we just wanted a clean, reasonably proced, reliable place to stay in Auckland for a couple of nights.

Would be happy to stay here again
